Mr. Bevis BBQ Insta Pot Brisket

Step 1 - Set up the Insta Pot & Choose your Mr. Bevis BBQ Rub.  (For this frozen brisket we used Original Spicy)

Step 2 - The best cuts of meat like this brisket come wrapped in butcher paper.  PS... We think the best rubs do as well.  Grab your brisket and your Mr. Bevis rub of choice and get it ready to cook.

Step 3 - Grab the following items. For this recipe we utilized Johnny's Au Jus, Liquid Smoke & Mr. Bevis Original Spicy.

Step 4 - Measure 1/4 cup of liquid smoke and pour in the Insta Pot. Then pour one bottle of Au Jus with 2 parts water in the Insta Pot. (When pouring Au Jus in the Insta Pot, refill the Au Jus bottle 2 times and pour in with liquid smoke

Step 5 - Add 1/4 cup of Mr. Bevis BBQ Rub and stir for 30 seconds.

Step 6 - Set Insta Pot to 1hr and 20 min - 1hr and 45 min depending on size of brisket.  Remember, this is a FROZEN 4lb brisket point, a frozen flat will be about 60 min. Set to no venting.

Step 7 - Set oven to Broil

Step 8 - Remove Brisket from Insta Pot and place on flat baking sheet. 

Step 9 - Put a light to medium coat of Mr. Bevis BBQ Rub on brisket and place in oven for 1-3 min depending on shelf height.

Step 9 -  Remove from oven

Step 10 - Slice, add a light coat of Mr. Bevis BBQ Rub & Serve!
